You're running better meanings, you're staying on top of your 1:1s, and you're team's culture is legendary. Let's get into how to use this thing at scale.

Organization Administration

Once you have a few teams in Trelliswork, you might find yourself needing a little more control of exactly who is responsible for what. Let's start with the Org Settings page, which you'll find by clicking on the "Org" button:

Org Administrators

From here you can assign / un-assign any existing org member to be an org admin. As an Org Admin, users have the ability to:

  • Invite new org members, either from the People page or directly into teams

  • Remove teams from the org

  • Update the admin status of other org members

  • Change the "discoverable" settings for the org

Think of org admins as the gatekeepers for who can join the org, and ones to manage what teams exist in that org. By creating a new organization, you are the admin of that org by default.

Private Teams

For teams that need to have limited visibility at your org, there's an easy solution. Any member of a team can set that team to private. In doing so, they make sure that that team, and the contents of that team (Meetings, Links, etc...) can only be viewed by members of that team. For anyone else, that team is invisible.

What's Next

The What's Next page is just for you. Any Meetings you are a part of, across all teams and people, will show up here making it easy to jump right into planning or running upcoming sessions.

Additionally, all action items assigned to you, across all teams and people, as well as action items that are only visible to you, will appear here.

Action Items

Action Items are present throughout Trelliswork. You'll see them in team meetings, people pages, and on the What's Next page. Action Items help you keep track of any tasks you have due for upcoming meetings, as well as your own work outside of meetings. We've also designed Trelliswork so that a single action item can show up in any and all meetings that it needs to, so that everyone can have the right visibility to work in process.

Action items created within a meeting planning or live session space are automatically linked to that meeting. Any time you run that session, that action item will be present until it is completed or deleted. The status of that action item will appear in any session summaries for that meeting.

Action items created from your What's Next page will be visible only to you. This is a great space to keep your own private action items. Additionally, any other action items that are linked to one or more meetings will appear here as well.

At any time you can link or unlink an action item from a given meeting. Just click on the edit menu for that action item to decide where you would like it to appear.
